Visit CMG SoCal's profileI really like this game because of its strategic purity. You can spend as much or as little time with your strategies as you want, and the results pretty directly match your skill and effort. It's like running your own hand-crafted simulations to outwit your opponent. Also, the soundtrack is very fitting, which makes it very easy to spend a ton of time planning.
This is a game for hardcore FPS fans. Before I played it, I thought it looked like Left 4 Dead with police instead of zombies. After playing it, I was wrong about a couple things: the zombies are wearing armor, they have guns, and instead of thirsting for brains the "aiming" center of their brains has been super-sized.
Still, if you like a challenge, and enjoy tactical gameplay (you will NEED good tactics to survive), then I do recommend this game. In fact, PLEASE play it, because the player pool needs more solid players!
This is easily the most addicting team-based zombie game I've ever played. It's a great mix of class-based tactical survival with a persistent leveling system and widely varying difficulty levels. "Normal" difficulty will last most players forever, but then this game goes above and beyond with Hard, Suicidal, and Hell on Earth difficulties. Each round usually takes about 30 minutes, and if your team survives it feels like a big accomplishment every time.
