Console awfulness
unlike most indie games with great art and music, this game actually has some teeth and substance to it. Platforming in the game is skill testing but never sadisitic , controls are responsive, and the game's central gimmick reinforces the game's puzzle elements instead of simply existing to make the author of the game look like some kind of auteur (Fez, Braid, etc.)
Well worth the price of admission. Game has a lot of very solid levels and gameplay for the price you are paying.
Definitely a Dwarf Fortress 'light', and currently missing a lot of functionality needed for flavor, it is nevertheless easy to learn, full of suprises, and entertaining to play and "simulate" even at this stage of the alpha. Do not regret for the $12 I paid given the future looks real bright for the game.
High variance game, items are very poorly balanced. Good roguelike with solid game mechanics but can be extremely frustrating when die rolls 110% out of your control don't go right.
