RBS is a good and colorful shmup. It can get a bit repetitive after a while, however the game has many modes which can be unlocked and every run is different. Definitely a nice game at an affordable price if you're looking for something new and different in the genre without having to worry about importing the game.

To me, Thief is the franchise that best defines what stealth should be. It's quite an old game though, and it certainly shows, but if you can get over the dated graphics and old mechanics, this truly is a gem. Theft, infiltration, silent disposal of "obstacles", Thief reflects well its name.

Thief is the only 'real' stealth game out there in first-person. There never was and never will be another game like these: Pure stealth and nothing else. No need of a radar, beeping noises and what not that's in every modern stealth games plagued with a weapon arsenal worthy of an army. It's you, the darkness, and your ears.

All you need to know is that this game is amazing. The atmosphere and immersion it provides is unlike any other game out there. It succeeds where others have failed, in short.

I recommend this to any one who enjoys first-person shooters, highly atmospheric games, and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise (as Metro could be seen as "If S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was a linear shooter").

While the game is badly optimized, especially on AMD/ATI systems, the incredible story-telling and immersive gameplay makes of this unique game a hidden gem among so many titles out there. It is definitely worth being played through.
