An amazing game for the first couple of hours. Then you realize that Techland took made a massive error when they decided to let all of the zombies level up everytime that you level. The problem with this is that it makes the game essentially the same everywhere you go. The zombies always take 2-3 hits and it gets boring REALLY quickly. I stuck through just to see the storyline, but was increadibly dissapointed that this could have been an amazing open world zombie RPG with diablo-esque loot if only they would have created static monster levels for all areas of the game. I can imagine how amazing Dead Island could have been if certain parts would have been off-limits because of higher level zombies. Instead of being able to go everywhere, you would have had gates based on hour hard that particular group of zombies was. I wanted to love this game so much. I really really wanted too, but any developer can not expect us to do the same action for 25 hours with the only difference being location. :/ At $5 it is probably worth the couple hours of fun before it gets boring, but not recommended full price.

Just an amazing game and a huge improvement from the already awesome Darksiders I. I really hope that a good dev house picks up the IP from THQ because the Darksiders franchise is just so much fun to play. This is truly an action RPG in the genre's finest form. Great visuals, amazing combos, metroid-vania type exploration and tons of collectibles to unlock. The story gets a little contrived at the end, but overall Darksiders II is just so much fun to play. Highly recommended!

Hands down, one of THE best RPGs every created. This is a must play for anyone interested in the RPG genre. An engrossing storyline with multiple arcs, drop dead gorgeous visuals, brilliantly acted voiceover work for every piece of dialogue, an intriguing talent system, the list goes on and on... Really, this game is brilliant. Highly recommended. Did I mention it might have the greatest visuals of any PC game. Period?! Support CD Projekt RED!!!
