It starts slow and doesn't make much sense, but once the plot gets rolling you'll want to see how this moving story ends. I do believe I shed a tear during the finale. Only lasts four hours or so, don't be discouraged by the occasional awkward "action" sequence or bad jokes. Just play on, it's worth it.
It looks lke a cutesy platformer. It sounds like a cutesy platformer. It is, for at least ten minutes, exactly that: a cutesy platformer. But the further you proceed, you realize that there's more to it than that.
Try the freeware version if you're curious, but this version is worth buying.
I know, I know, it's another version of Cave Story. Well the original game was totally free, so now it's time to pony up and pay for it. Again. And again. Trust me, it's worth it. New graphics are cute too (but the original music is better - skip the remixes).
