I'm a casual gamer who really enjoys Valve games, especially the Half-Life and Portal series. Aside from gaming I do design work and skinning in my free time. I made several Steam skins, with the most popular being the Metro one which you can find in my gallery.

PopCap is known for making easy to play games with nice looking 2D graphics. Some might argue that they're reminiscent of simple flash games, but I'll have to disagree. The quality of their games is pretty amazing - from gameplay to music. Plants vs. Zombies is no exception, I've played this game on multiple platforms already and it's always a fun way to spend time. The objective is to defend your lawn against zombies with poor writing skills using various plants. As you progress, more plants and zombies are unlocked and the game becomes more interesting. No particular skill is required as the game is quite easy in my opinion, even so, it's still pretty fun. Definitely one of the best tower defense games available!
A classic platformer packed with action won't leave you disappointed. Although quite easy at first, this game gets incredibly more challanging as you progress further. Prepare to break your controller in frustration because you'll be having a lot of it, but the satisfaction from completing a difficult level will be great. There are quite many levels available and it certainly offers a lot of playing time.
Cogs is a steampunk styled logic puzzle, but it's not a ordinary one. The gameplay technique was quite familiar to me because I happened to have a toy in my childhood with 8 numbered squares in a 3x3 box. The objective of that game was to align numbers in a acceding order. In Cogs, however, you do things a bit differently. The main objective is to make a simple contraption work by aligning these squares, but it doesn't stop there, you'll find many more complex puzzles which will pose a challenge even for someone who has an engineering degree. And you'll find the satisfaction from completing complex puzzles to be great. A fun casual indie game indeed!
