Lately I've been trying to go through my huge back catalogue of games, playing through ones I bought then ignored. I'm also trying to write simple and straightforward reviews of each one as I do so, redoing my more snarky, minimalist ones as well. Over the past few years I've probably spent $200+ dollars on games that turned out to be no fun or worse yet, actively frustrating and I'd like to try and help people avoid my mistakes and spare their wallet the harm. So if you see one of my recommendations, rest assured I've put some thought into it.
