I really wish I could write a recommendation that would be able to accurately explain how I feel about this game. There is a plethora of reasons you should play it, and I don't really know where to begin in listing them. The story telling is by far what hooked me the most, paired with the unique and feeling soundtrack; it tells a story I wish I wrote myself. If you enjoyed Braid, you'll likely enjoy Bastion. Gosh, even if you aren't into any sort of indie game, I feel that just about anyone could enjoy Bastion. Please try it out! ♥

Moeblob merchant game. It's a lot better than the concept sounds; you run your own shop in order to pay back a debt, but the real game doesn't really start until you play in endless mode. Endless mode begins after you give your final payment, and allows you to spend more time advancing in dungeons as well as other things rather than rushing to meet payments. As simple as the game is, it still has a final boss/antagonist, as well as a straight-forward story line. The game is nonsensical, of course, but enjoyable nonetheless.
