I'm usually not a fan of COD style shooters. However, Blacklight:Retribution has achieved an immersive experience independent of comparison to games such as COD through an excelled reliance on teammates and squad tactics coupled with refined and inspiring art direction.

Now as I understood it, Skyrim was meant to be developed under the "Creation engine". I can safely say that skyrim reaks of Oblivion. Mainly in the physics and the feel of the environment. I'm seriously doubting that this was created on an entirely new engine. I havent read any news on this matter so this might not me news to anyone.

That said, Skyrim is near and dear to my heart. It offers an extremely expansive role playing experience that offers a lot of what Oblivion was lacking. There are plenty of clever quests to embark on and epic vistas to explore. If you're looking for a fantastic action role playing experience, Skyrims your guy.

This came out some time ago. However it hasnt aged in the least. Audiosurf offers a really great experience that brings an interesting flavor to your listening experience. Definitely in the high ranks of my favorites.
