This bridge meant everything to us, for something about that flowing water allowed us to release our hidden secrets and thoughts.
On the rusted iron that reinforced the bridge was many inscriptions, and one in particular that has always played on repeat through my mind.
Though walking alone along the bridge now resembles the absence of my past, I still feel the urge to vent out to anyone who is willing to lend an ear.
From that bridge, we all chose to take different paths. We forgot somehow that who we are now shouldn't be any different from who we were then.
I myself firmly believe that one day we will all choose to retrace our steps and find where we first ventured out to become "us", and I will still wait on that bridge.
