Urban Bushido began as a small group of Counter Strike Source players back in 2004. Originally named the "Warriors" we soon realized that "Warriors" was hard to wear as a tag when one of our co-founders, I believe uB|Gerr, or uB|Snowball, suggested Urban Bushido and the name stuck.
Playing as a rag-tag bunch of guys sharing the same interests for some time, things sort of fell through the cracks, life caught up with us, and we drifted apart; enter uB|Delta One. Delta began assembling the old crew through xFire and in game, soon after, on February 3rd, uB was officially born as we opened our new forums and got our first servers off the ground.
In those early days, there was a handful of us, Delta One, Gerr, Snowball, zY, Independence-Day, The Unborn, and a few others to setup and manage the day to day activities. We started with two public servers with 22 slots that were run by Independence Day from his office, we then added a 16 person Gun Game server and the community began to grow.
About a month after our launch, uB|Leuthil joined our ranks and the competitive branch of uB was launched. This direction brought new challenges and rewards as our clan began competing in CAL, CEVO, and TWL.
From these humble beginnings, Urban Bushido has grown into something far larger than we had ever expected. The hard work and efforts by all our members in developing our community, with the leadership of the Clan Council, the Urban Bushido community has taken off.
Currently, Urban Bushido fields four competitive teams that have enjoyed great success in competition. Urban Bushido continues to grow leaps and bounds and always responding to Valves latest developments, we plan on establishing a Team Fortress Classic 2 community and possibly a Portals community as soon as the those games are released. In addition we also have a World of Warcraft guild.
As you can tell, we are not the average clan. We pride ourselves in delivering a lively community in both fun game play and competition. Register in our forums, and play in our servers, you have found the last community you'll ever have to visit.
