As one of the foremost hardcore FPS games on the PC market today ARMA 2 offers a wonderful combined arms approach to the multiplayer shooter. I have hardly touched the single player because the Warfare 2.0 offers one of my personal favorite ways to shoot mans err' day.
Stop being a little girl and buy this game! Not only does this superb RTS have a wonderfully orchestrated series of campaigns it is also one of the most underrated and delightfully tactical multiplayer games available for the RTS enthusiast. Between the realistic infantry cover system, mortar and heavy machine gun emplacements, tanks, and other unique units between four different playable factions (US, Great Britain, Wermacht, Panzer Elite) the complete set of Company of Heroes is one of the best RTS experiences around.
Also, screw Kettenkrads.
