Simple, fun and straight to the point shooter with tight controls, plenty of clever shout outs and crisp pixel-y design that doesn't try to be retro for the sake of being retro.

All in all, an excellent time killer.

Good game, fun times.

But FUCK the last level. FUCK it with a burning rake.

A very well made ARPG that doesn't try to be overly complex or go 10 miles deep into the story, and provides just about the right amount of content to keep one interested in taking quests and looting chests. But do have a gamepad on the ready - even with the keybinding patch, it's an unrewarding experience for keyboard+mouse enthusiasts.

PS. The least buggy Obsidian release. That is saying something.
