I've been away for some time. I'm just now back. Gimme some time to re-edit this shit down to something a bit more...what's the word...glib and bullshitty? I guess that works.
I'm set up in our current hotel. We'll be staying here until we move into the house, which should be just before or after christmas. Not sure yet. Anyway, I'm ready for games 'n' adventure or whatevers any time.
This group is mainly for Sky7 Anime users to meet and game. We'll try to see what games all of us have in common and try to set up game nights or days or whatever time the most of us can get on. Anyway, that's about it.
Dark, elegant, and atmospheric, this is a gem of an indie game.
The atmosphere alone is enough for the buy, but what makes the game stand out is in it's set pieces. They range from a truly terrifying chase with a spider to an equally chilling chase with members of your own species this game pulls no punches.
The difficulty may turn off some people, but once you get past that one puzzle, you feel like a genius, and then there comes another puzzle harder than the last. But it's worth it for the beautiful experience.
If you got the money, I'd highly reccomend this as an elegant alternative to all the vapid triple A releases.
While I'm not good at this game, I adore it as a stress relief mechanism. It's turn based strategy mixed with real time battles and the stew is perfect.
Add a universe that's been written in detail by a wonderful world builder, what you get is a sort of perfect RP experience.
You truely create your empire and rule it as however you or your character who is created by you chooses. And it's zen-like in it's pacing, yet if you want to approach it from an agressive angle you can. It allows for all kinds, not forcing you into one playset. What this fosters is an elegant experiance that really can't be topped by any game I know. I highly reccomend this game, I'd love to play this with anyone, because of the depth and the elegance of the experiance that's unique to this game.
