My favorite medieval sandbox. The combat is polished, no magic, no potions, no chance to block % bs. It's no generic hacknslash game either where you mow down dozens of enemies with combos, charge blindly into the fray and you will end up dead, it's more about finding the right opportunity to attack. There's a multiplayer mode but I love the single player mode better since combat is just a small fraction of the game. Building your elite army, going into large scale open warfare with allies and enemies, looting villages, taking over enemy territories, capturing POWs for ransom and slavery, etc. is where it's at.
