This game genuinely captures what makes a Sonic game fun. It plays a bit like a "Best of," which is what it is, but what's in it is beautifully crafted, and in many cases surpasses the quality of the originals. If you've ever enjoyed a Sonic game, or if you want to see how beloved mascots of yesteryear can be made relevant to modern gaming then you should play this game.

Just try not to vomit at some of the terrible cliches in the cut scenes.

Bastion is a really addictive action game with a real sense of style. When I picked it up, I expected to play real quick, get some things done and move on. Four hours later, I'd run through the first major portion of the game, and been experimenting with dozens of possible weapon and upgrade combinations.

It's definitely worth a try if you love top down action games.

Aquaria is a stunning game. Its environments are beautiful, the creatures within them are fascinating, it story is compelling, and it's just an amazing accomplishment from a small development team.
