STFU Gaming was founded by Daniel Still in March of 2008. We started off with just a Day of Defeat: Source team that ended up winning the CAL-Main Season 9 Championship with a record of 13 – 1 in September of 2008. Since then we have grown into what we are today, but we’re still looking to expand. This organization was made to be different from the norm in competitive gaming and strive to be more successful than our competition. Our goal is to be among the top tiers of multi gaming eSports and maintain the aspects of gaming that make it fun to play to begin with while doing it in a professional manner.
Our current team roster consists of players that come from a wide variety of different games such as Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Day of Defeat: Source, and Defense of the Ancients (DOTA). This doesn’t include the people we have to actually help run the community. Our players and staff range in age from about 18 to 35 and are from all over the world. They take place in different competitions such as CEVO, XPL, ESEA and other tournaments and leagues. We’re always looking to expand our organization into new games as well as other we do not currently participate in.
