While in the Galcon series it is possible to choose from which planets fleets should attack a planet, this is not possible in Planets Under Attack. This design choice renders the gameplay "indirect" and much less exciting. Only temporarily deactivating plantes from sending out fleets is possible. It results in the feeling to be an observer rather than the commander sending his starfleets to an epic star battle...
