Just about acceptable performance in steam deck.

TTP1 was perhaps my fav game of all time from a perspective of incredibly satisfying ingenious puzzles which are always just about achievable and a story which is compelling and current. So far TTP2 has managed to be different enough to be more than a glorified DLC but familiar enough that you feel at home.

It seems a lot more character driven and world roaming than the first but that is cool. Voice acting is… striking. I would almost say bad but they actually play off well as weird androids.

Anyway, I’m already getting the smell of classic from this, recommended!

Very silly, a little try hard with the memes and almost goes a bit too fast but generally fun over all. Though I have to say the weapon swapping system is stupid and makes battles unnecessarily hard.

Beautiful game with a classic nintendo rpg tone and original gameplay. Love it.

I'd been putting off playing this despite following its development from a relatively early stage. The main thing I wanted to say is that there are certain design choices and narrative directions that as I was playing I was storing up in my mind to complain about afterwards, but by the end they are all addressed and given a context which brings it all together. All in all the devs have done a fab job in turning a bunch of weird little visual effects and gimmicks in to something more than the sum of its parts. An indie classic up there with the games it draws from.

Fun, casual game with a colossal amount of user generated content. Perfect little distraction for when you have some time to kill and with beautiful sound nonetheless. Works well when put into windowed mode and put down to a smaller resolution then I can play it during meetings or when other things are loading. Also the sound is worth mentioning - gameplay reactive generative audio which is more than a little reminiscent of Rez, very synesthetic. All in all, one of the best in class for casual short burst gameplay with high production values.

nice to have a multiplayer game where strangers can't talk to you or grief you (much). Just what this filthy casual old man gamer needs to have some fun and occasionally feel like he isn't the worst at videogames in the world.

It feels exactly like when I played Half Life 2 half my life ago. Whoa I just realised that.

This game is a charming example of beautiful game design. Part of the enjoyment of it is figuring out the rules and building strategies. A somewhat simple concept with some lovely little touches. Over the years I have found myself come back to it in a way that I haven't other games. It really is something you can dip in and out of as you wish. Highly recommended.

Loved the Stanley Parable and was recommended this by many, so I waited until the Christmas sale to give it a go. I have to say I feel underwhelmed. However this is not to take anything away from those who do take something - perhaps I just have a different set of sentitivities. Also I am a bit frustrated by the absolute linearity of the whole thing and the emotional payload of the game I just don't buy in to - I don't find it real; the game did not achieve suspension of disbelief for me.

If this kind of naval-gazing game interests you, I would far, far sooner recommend you check out The Magic Circle - it's more novel, more entertaining and it approaches the ideas of creator and content in a more entertaining way. I'd still recommend the game, but only if its on a pretty decent discount.
