I think some people would consider me a bad person for having played more UT3 than TF2.

Snappy combat, great weapon variety, excellent story presentation, and some of the best music (and use thereof) I've heard in a game. Seriously, there's one scene near the very end of the game that was more emotionally affecting than any other I've played in a long time, and a lot of the credit goes to the music for that.
Put bluntly, you should play Bastion. One of my favourite games of 2011.
Let's be realistic here: if I'm on your friends list, you already know whether you care about Portal 2. It expands Portal's unique first-person puzzle-platforming gameplay and storytelling in a number of clever and entertaining ways, and includes a full-length co-op campaign that forces you to think and work together in ways I don't think I've ever done before. So if that sounds like your thing, buy it. If it doesn't...you're probably a bad person. Buy it anyway.
Arguably the best Diablo clone since Diablo itself, made by most of the original creators of Diablo. It has enough modernizing touches and clever additions (pets can sell your vendor trash for you! Huzzah!) to make it fresh and addictive all over again, while retaining the essentials of the 1996 classic, most notably the nostalgia-inducing sound design. Add in unlimited mod support, and you can't NOT buy this for $15 if you ever loved the genre.
