I used to play Counter-Strike 1.6 a lot. It's the one and only First Person Shooter game I got into competitively. However, after a long hiatus from First Person Shooters, I've now started to play a few FPS games again. Additionally, with the advent of Steam becoming more than just a Valve and FPS gaming program platform, I've been playing a ton of other stuff through this as well. If anyone wants to play anything (specifically games I own), shoot me a message and let me know.
Other than that, I'm a fan of video games, cartoons, and plenty of other things, too. Just hit me up if you wanna talk and get to know me. I'd love to get to know you, too. Probably. ^^;

Besök UVA Gamers Clubs profilBorderlands was one of those games that I bought on a recommendation from a friend when the Game of the Year edition was on sale for 75% off ages ago, and I never regretted my decision. The combination of fast paced, insane FPS action and certain RPG elements work perfectly here, and while it is fun by yourself, I had the most fun playing it with a friend or two. The main story isn't too stellar, but the DLC packs are chock full of entertaining tidbits, as well as some really good rewards. I'm definitely looking forward to the sequel, and hoping that the story for it is more akin to the quality of the stories in the DLC.
Although the game is somewhat short as compared to many others out there, Bastion is definitely worth playing. The narration is well written and acted out, the gameplay is phenomenal, and the story will have you continue pushing through stage after stage. It's probably the best indie game of 2011, and its impressive gameplay and fantastic design certainly warrant a purchase.
Honestly doing this for the ticket, but I will say that this game is hella fun. It's a free roam MMORPG where you get to play as a superhero archetype of your choice. Or if you get a subscription, you can get a freeform superhero. Then you go through missions, completing various tasks to level yourself up. It's not nearly as grindy as I thought it would be, and the superpowers, oddly enough, still haven't gotten old. Give it a shot if you're a fan of superheroes or MMORPGs.
