I've had Steam since it came out several years ago... the Winter Holiday season has some really good deals here in Steam and every weekend there's something on sale. I look for the things that I may not necessarily be interested in right this second, but may be in a couple years... for instance, I had TF2 for more than a year before I installed it!

The classic "Bejeweled" model takes on a nice twist with relaxing audio and encouraging gameplay.
Overall, Lucid is a pretty decent game, but the repetitive music, strange occasional sound effects and lack of ability to change the resolution (your desktop icons get stuffed in the top left each play) make this a no-go for me ultimately.
If they included resolution support and let me include my own soundtrack via mp3 library, I'd be in for good.
This game feels like the Diablo series with a ton of great refinements. Balanced gameplay and bosses make for a fun game I keep coming back to over and over.
It's a great FPS shooter with RPG backend, saturated with sarcasm.
