Why is it that I keep JUST BARELY missing you whenever I look on my friends list to see if you're online? I have the worst luck!

I am getting tickets for doing this. I have no shame.

This is an awesome and inexpensive little wargame. Sure, the UI is a total lift from Civ V, but don't let that fool you. This game is far more simple strategy wargame than it is 4X, hearkening back to the days of the _____ General franchise. If you enjoyed the Civ V combat system, don't like getting bogged down in city micromanagement, and enjoy high fantasy settings, you could do a lot worse than this game. Especially for two sawbucks.

Are the graphics on this dated? Yes. Is it bug-ridden? Sure.
It's also one of the most interesting and engaging Action-RPGs written, full stop. The action bits are a bit (ok, very) railsy, but the writing is top notch, helped by solid voice acting, and the story is well paced, with plenty of room for player choice. In fact, people talk about "mortality system" and whatever, but honestly Bloodlines does moral choices better than all the games that attempt it today, and all without a crammed on sidegame.
