As Battlefield 2142 lost popularity =ATU= deiced to take a hiatus. While =ATU= lay dormant it's core members remained together playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 under a different clan name. At one point having a top ranked 24/7 Atacama Desert Server. With Battlefield Bad Company 2 dieing off. It was time.
With the Announcement of Battlefield 3. The true predecessor in the Battlefield Series due to release on October 25th. The Allied Tactical Unit is returning to reclaim it's glory on the Battlefield.
