Let me tell you why you should buy this game. Just listen here for a second.

Can I say, that this game is awesome? Because it is. It's genuinely hard to complete in one sitting, all thanks to well placed environmental and NPC "screamers". Ah, that word - I shouldn't have used it. "Screamers" are what bad horror games prefer to use. There is no psychology behind that fear that you get after coming across a screamer. It's a one time thing, and all it does - is make sure your reflexes and self-preservation instincts still work. You scream not of fear, but of suddenness. Well, you won't scream if you are Kristen Stewart.

Amnesia? It doesn't have screamers. Well, not too many. Instead, it makes sure you get the feeling of dread just by walking through levels. The atmosphere of desolation and doom, the sounds that you make while walking across the creaky rotten floor, the creatures that make you feel disgust just by looking at them, not to mention the sounds they make... All of it is mixed together into a beautifully tragic and horrifying horror game, with a twisted story and a character to remember. Amnesia became a classic nowadays. There are better games, of course. I won't name them. But Amnesia is one thing you shouldn't miss out. Even if you're afraid of the year gap between now and when it's been created.
