I have spent an incredible amount of time playing this game. Much of it wasn't even on the story, just roaming around the city, skydiving, exploring and so on. Probably the best open world game I have ever played and a must-buy, in my opinion.
Team Fortress 2 is a really fun game - nothing more, nothing less. Free, too!
SC 5, parts 1 & 2 are the mother of all rhythm games, and proof that something as simple as "Simon" can be compelling when dressed up in the right theme. It was great on the Dreamcast, and more or less unchanged here. UGA's stated mission was to make games that would make people smile. If you like smiling, you should buy this.
However, my recommendation isn't unconditional. The port has several serious bugs, and always has. The config program is broken (you need to write your ini file manually), making it impossible to easily switch to the Japanese soundtrack. I know this sounds like a weeaboo complaint, but the .jp voice acting is much more lively, the music was written around Japanese lyrics, and the Dreamcast version (that I learned to play on) was .jp only. I think special dancers and bonus musicians are also glitched in English. Even with Japanese forced on, there are some audio glitches (Chapter 4 boss battle). In summary, a flawed gem.
