Alright then time for a proper write up. Obviously not everyone's cup of tea, I like simulators alot but can only play this when I'm in the right mood. The game as it stands alone is pretty good, you get a nice variety of trains and routes which are nicely detailed. However, the game really comes alive when you add DLC's. The payware DLC's are quite pricey for what you get, though there is free content avalable from various sites. The biggest shortfall is the lack of scenarios, as the game doesn't include many. This means you can either: download more, or make your own. And that leads me to the editor tools.
The editing tools are not easy to use, especially the route editor. The scenario editor is a bit better, though the route finding logic for AI trains can be annoying at times. Basically if you like simulators and trains, buy it.
