Check out my Interface Hard Coded Key Tweaks mod for Skyrim -- it works with the key selections you assigned in-game to remove many annoying hard coded keys!

With one of the newer patches, Give, Take All, and Store are bound to whatever you assigned to the Sheathe/Ready command so it is no longer hardcoded to R. Even though it is not hardcoded, it is not made available for configuration in the controlmap.txt file, so Skyrim Key Helper can't change it. Note that the interface will still show R no matter what Sheathe/Ready is bound to.

Hey, my PC controls for skyrim have been broken for a while now and I want to get back to playing the game. Your Skyrim Key Helper has fixed every single issue! - Well, every bar one. I can now quit books with the tab key and all of that jazz, but when I go to trade with my companion the "R" (or "give") button still does nothing. This is annoying because I can drop items, but not order my companion to carry any. Could you please add support for the R button in the Skyrim Key Helper?? This one issue stops me from continuing with my quest :(

many thanks for your 'Interface Hard Coded Key Tweaks' for skyrim! I'm lefthanded and always played games with the numpad. So your mod is essential for me (and many others I assume)! Thanks again

you can only add commands like that with a script extender, the one for skyrim (SKSE) is not out yet

Dam, how you figure this all out.. kudos. Quick question... what if I just want to create a mod that allows me to set the run speed (player.setav speedmult) so if i hit say key I it sets player.setav speedmult to 50 and if I hit key U it sets player.setav speedmult back to 100. Any suggestions?

Deeper and more challenging gameplay than Fallout 3, though the main story up until near the end is a little less engaging. Still, there are plenty of unique items, people, and locations to discover, and you are able to kill or help just about who or whatever you want, making for a great free-form experience. Mod support at the New Vegas Nexus is overwhelming, and offical patches have made the game more stable and added general tweaks. Overall, FO3 had more memorable moments and is intangibly better, but FONV makes some much-needed improvements is a solid game in its own right.
