Revolutionizes first person sword-fighting! BEST melee combat in a game EVER.

I can't go back into sword fighting in Skyrim anymore after playing this game. Skyrim was a fun game, but the sword fighting is very simplistic when compared to this game. In Chivalry, there are really only 3 attack moves: horizontal swings, forward stab, and vertical (overhead) chops. Combined with factors like Timing, Angle, Weapon Speed and Reach makes for a very complex system. You'll encounter situations such as being flanked, surrounded, and sniped by archers and must take them into consideration when fighting an opponent. When everything's combined, it makes for one amazing sword fighting game. This game has set such a high bar for me, I'm afraid of playing games that's really a game about repeatedly slashing a long life bar until it runs out.

Great game for Single Player, and Amazingly Awesome for COOP. I've had my doubts for implementing COOP in a series so focused on puzzle solving. I left all the puzzles feeling smart, rewarded, and ultimately satisfied. Glados's involvement in the story is, as usual, intelligent and humourous. The Single Player adds a lot of story to the Portal (and Half Life) universe while COOP lets you experience all the awesomeness of Portal with a buddy. Definitely go for the two pack! Truly experience the Portal Experience!

Don't compare this game with GTA IV, think of it as its own entity. There are literally tons of activities to do in this game. I highly recommend this game if you have a friend to blast through the game's COOP mode.
