I love red alert games but this one if I could I would return it. none of it felt right and I finished the campaigns in next to no time at all compared to the last games. red alert 2 is far better in my opinion, you might feel differently but heres the thoughts from an absolute red alert fan.

I finished the campaigns once when the game came out long ago but could never get over the cartoonish graphics... Maybe it's a good game, probably since so many people like it, but I think Red Alert 1 is superior.

I believe this was when EA bought and destroyed Westwood. Check out GreyGoo I hear that it is made by some of the original Westwood Studios crew.

Lol ra2 suchs hard dude how can you compare that shit with ra3, ra2 was pure tank spaming, without considerating the annoying bad optimization , the lag u got when there were a lot of units in the map.

I know how you felt. But honestly give it a chance. When I first played it, I was PISSED that it didn't own up to the earlier Red Alert. They added an almost arcade-like touch to it. I didn't like it at all. I put the game down and about a month later I finally decided to give the campaign a worthy try and suddenly it grew on me. I ended up loving it at the end. Especially the expansion. The expansion has GREAT single player content. I suggest trying it again with an open mind. You may just warm up to it. good luck! comrad
