Probably the best 'scary game' in that it is actually unnerving and scary if you let it be.
Probably one of my favorite games in a long time. Took the potential of Fallout 3 and made it more linear without sacrificing the openendedness. Combined with mods for a superior experience and the best DLC I've ever touched (Old World Blues especially- but also Dead Money to be played before that!) I would go so far as to say it was the natural progression of Deus Ex.
I can't recommend this game. At all. I don't know if it's the 2 minute load times between levels or the fact that the menus lag combined with the actual combat being somehow less enjoyable than the original despite them seemingly putting more thought into it. It feels like I'm playing an xbox game, I guess, in the worst way. Even if you don't like the original, you still won't like this despite fans of the original hating it.
