Another excellent, well designed card game. This one took a few attempts before I understood all of the game mechanics but once they clicked the game is near perfect.

Ichiban may be my favourite games protagonist. He's a great character and it's a blast following his story.

As for the game, it's stunning. A masterclass in great game design, constantly adding new gaming elements, along with the best mini games in any game, ever.

I don't really care about the marketing team trying to charge extra for new game +. The team who actually created this game obviously love gaming.

On top of all this, how the hell did a stupid video game make me cry. The worst part of this game is the knowledge that it will be years before I get to play the next one.

Personally I'm finding this to be a absolute stunner of a game. I quite enjoy a good Survival Crafting game, and the introduction of creatures into the game play has been amazing. I remember playing Pokemon Red way back and enjoying it but never feeling the need to 'collect them all'. This isn't the case with PalWorld, I'm constantly looking for new Pals that will improve my base. I desperately want to collect them all this time. Then there's the way that they all behave different in combat. It's just a great game design. Sure they've used game mechanics from other games but they're almost all good game mechanics and they combine into an exceptional game.

And then you remember that this is early access and it's still not even finished. If it's this good at this stage I can't wait to see what the final version is like.

Honestly I thought I'd be playing the new 'Like a Dragon' game at the end of January, sadly it will have to wait I'm enjoying this one too much.

Fantastic game, only £25, even if you doubt my review, at £25 you've at least got to try it to see if I'm right.

Nice, a well made ARPG with some original concepts. A lot better to play than Diablo 4.

This game looks fantastic, if there was actually a good game to go with the visuals this might have been game of the year material.

What you get is a great looking, piece of junk. Or a terrible game that looks fantastic.

Take your pick, just don't waste your money on this.

Started ok, then I got to the end of what I assume is the tutorial and hit the first boss. After the 15th time seeing the 'you're destroyed' screen I was reminded that this is a From Software game and they've always thought that rock hard bosses are fun. Not to me they're not. Tedious and boring is what it becomes.

I was really hoping for a good mech combat game. This isn't it. If you're a fan of dying a lot and the reward you get from getting past tough challenges, you'll love it. If you're just looking for a fun game to play this isn't it.

It starts with a terrible tutorial. If you don't do exactly the right thing at the right time the game breaks and you have to restart the day. After the tutorial it's pretty poor, boring to play and generally just frustrating. With so many great games available there is no reason to play this.

Excellent game, well designed and completely playable now.

Really enjoying it so far. The combination of RPG mechanics and turn based combat works well. Not encountered any performance issues and if it wasn't for everyone mentioning Denovu I'd be none the wiser.

Seems well designed with a lot of care and attention to the characters and game play.

Update:

I'm running the game with a 1070 at 1440p. There is an occasional stutter when things get particularly crazy in a battle. Nothing that has in any way diminished the gameplay.

This is my favourite game this year, nothing else has hooked me like this has. After playing for days I thought I was nearing the end, nope just the end of Part 1. There is so much to like with this game.
