Toki Tori is delightful. Sometimes I let it sit on the splash screen just to hear the cheery music. It looks like a platformer but is really a puzzle game. Timing is not critical, and you can rewind whenever you like to correct mistakes.
Jolly Rover is like watching a light comedy while working a crossword puzzle. I watch characters tell jokes, but I have to solve puzzles every so often, so it's not as passive as a TV show. I especially like the Voodoo spell mechanic.
European games are so weird. I love them. In the first half hour of this game, my zeppelin was shot down by over-enthusiastic naked midgets firing themselves like fireworks to welcome me. Once I landed, I kicked the little guys around to accumulate currency, then bargained with incompentant mechanical gods for parts for a vehicle that I designed. Tutorials are delivered in awkward rhyme by a traveling band, and sometimes by the devil himself.
