This is definitely not a "game" in the traditional sense. I want to name this my movie of the year.

If you're the kind of person who really appreciates and gets into level design and atmosphere in games, this is for you. This was my favorite thing to do in games, distilled. This is how I spend my time in Skyrim; walking around, listening to the beautiful ambient msuic, looking at the scenery/flowers. It made me think of the beautiful level design in other games, especially the STALKER series, and also the later Half Life games.

It's basically a series of vignettes, with accompanying (and apparently sometimes randomly selected) narration and a really gorgeous soundtrack. The writing/story is actually quite poignant at times. Especially at one scene after a dive into a body of water. That one gave me chills, in a good way. Have I mentioned it's beautiful yet?

I have paid as much if not more to see shitty movies. I've enjoyed the hell out of this. It is definitely worth the $10.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRGH. 10x more deliciously frustrating than Super Meat Boy.

Found gameplay pretty frustrating at points, especially when paired with bugs and some clunky flaws. But it's deeply immersive and atmospheric and overall it's incredibly enjoyable and definitely worth playing. If you liked Stalker, odds are good you'll enjoy this.
