If you don't set your expectations to high. This game can be enjoyable. For some mindless self indulgent fun. Just don't go spending real world money. Dragon capturing is fun, but better once you get high enough lvl to capture the unique dragons. And combat is enjoyable as well. The combat combos may take a min to get used to. But they introduce them at a nice pace.

Alot of content has been removed since the open beta. Going from three starting areas, to one. Prolly blame that on low game population. "Sony Online Entertainment" - SOE seems to not be putting a hole lot of effort into this game them selves. They seem to just simply pay for the right, so they can milk the in game transactions for their own benefits.

There is the vocal minority that seems to complain about game performance. I do have a slight issue with it my self. mechanically, the game is fun. But graphically, the performance seems to drop a lot. If you're lucky enough to play the graphics on high, its a gorgeous game.

The other issue i had with the game is the number of random number generated mechanics that is in this game. If you want the perfect build. be ready to spend real world moneys. Even then, that wont be enough.

Apparently a lot of players have migrated to the EU client. Since they do more in supporting the game then SOE does here in the US.

In conclusion....

If you just want something to pass the time, or maybe try something new. Experiment something new with a group of friends go for it.

But if your looking for real in depth game. This might not be the one for you. I will admit, I haven't gotten to the "end game" content. So I don't know where the game goes. But I am sure there will be plenty of grinding if you're into that.
