I can't say enough good things about it, the most visceral combat I've ever played, no hand holding, amazing mod community. Running through someone with a machete or chasing a straggler down at full speed on your horse and shooting him in the back has never felt so good. The strategy aspect of the game feels very much like the Total War series. Getting kills online feels amazing because you worked for each and every one of them. Be sure to check out the cRPG mod if you play online, it turns the MP into a 100+ person persistent game.
