Besides being one of the most aesthetically beautiful games I’ve ever played, constantly taking my breath away with its incredibly beautiful vistas and environments, Gris also has the distinction of being one of the few games whose ending has made me cry. Backed by a lush, vibrant score by Berlinist, the game follows the story of a young girl dealing with the loss of her mother. You guide Gris through the five stages of grief, solving puzzles and platforming your way through the game, slowly but surely regaining your voice. This is a game that should be experienced by everyone.
