It's a good game for someone who does not play games as much as I used to. The limited energy may be seen as a limitation, but I still enjoy this game. They also added a way to buy more energy using crows instead of RL moneys if that helps.
It's a cute game. Love the character and level design.
Think Audiosurf, only instead of running down a track with a spaceship, you're using the spaceship to shoot asteroids and other spaceships too. The quantity of absurd effects is proportional to its insanity.
Play the original Portal. Then play this game. This is not a recommendation, it's an order.
I was stunned by the game environment progression as I advanced chapters. Not wanting to spoil much, but If you're the designer type like me, you'll see what I'm talking about. It's just that good.
They complained the original Portal was too short. Well, this one has quite a long trip. And I still want to throw Wheatley up in the air like a beach ball.
And while I'm still half-way on the co-op mode, I suggest you find a good partner and do the entire campaign together with voice enabled. Have fun shouting at each other where to place portals and trick you partner into falling inside a pit by "accidentally" stepping away from the button.
