The original Deus Ex set the bar for that era of gaming, promising and delivering deep game play and actual choice in play styles. DE: Human Revolution brings it up to date, with shiny graphics and an evolution of the gameplay - and it does most of this right, with only the poor boss fights acting as a let down. One of the best games of 2011.

Terrible 'conclusion' to the Command & Conquer series, clearly trying to emulate Dawn of War and failing miserably. No base building, a ridiculously low population cap and bland units all combine to make this game a total travesty. Stick with Generals.

Okay, that's X-wing, but Commander Keen is a blast from the past and simply fantastic. For a few quid you can't go wrong. Buy now and re-live the early 90s.
