To put it simply, this was like the developers wanted to make a game that looked and felt like Need for Speed, but with a twist. They then threw in Mario Kart mechanics, along with a couple of other things, and was able to make a unique, fun, but not very addictive racing game. I would recommend this to Mario Kart fans, but not to those who Mario Kart isn't their thing, much less a racing game.
