Absolute garbage monetization and online requirements. After spendinding 3 years "making the game better" the original demo ends up being the superior product. Can't even play locally with my son because the lame servers disconnect a game with just local players and bots because the dev skimps on servers. Avoid this game until the devs get their hands out of other peoples wallets.

Classic Ratchet and Clank game and ooooh so pretty. One of the only platforming series that I always look forward to playing. This game is about upgrading, upgrading, and more upgrading with a variety of weapons that all have unique mechanics unlike most shooting games where it's just "shoots bullet different distances".

After playing for a few hours, I was enjoying the many quality of life upgrades over Portia, and the updated graphics. I'm fully aware there isn't as much content yet, but haven't gotten far enough for that to matter yet. The problem though... the crashing, random crashes to desktop with no information, no saving, no nothing. I have played the same day over so much it's beginning to feel like a Groundhog day episode and has completely soured me on wanting to play more.

Placing blocks in schematic preview is a massive pain. I get it's trying to teach, but you can't place blocks unless you have the rotation correct, but sometimes you cannot get into the angle you need to place it. Needs a preview and keys to rotate, or just a way to have it auto rotate since the game knows the correct rotation. It's also impossible to place blocks behind another preview block since it thinks you are aiming at the one in front of it. This was already a problem on the very first schematic so I'm guessing this gets way worse with more complexity. The non-building mechanics such as mining and farming are incredibly rough as well. Also, I somehow got in some debug menu where the screen kept showing heat maps of shader complexity and other random stuff, and I couldn't get out of it. I couldn't even open up the main menu to close the game. After trying different buttons to exit this mode, the game ended up crashing due to loss of D3D device error. I really like the concept and the machines, but I'm not sure if this one is worth the time to deal with the bugs and lack of polish quite yet. Given how cheap it was, I'll leave my recommendation positive for the moment and give it one more try before refunding.

Needs a lot more variety on weapons, nerfing of some of the attacks, like throwing, and more variety of gamemodes or something. It gets stale very quickly and the brawling aspect is nowhere near on the level of gang beasts or similar games. It also crashed within 15 minutes of playing it (hard freeze had to kill process)

Fun little game but extremely buggy in my limited play time so far. There is a serious issue with the load from save system as it most of the time loads without the build interface, so you can't play the game (the bad UI text menu thing at the bottom of the screen where you select buildings. Also, the tutorial goes poof if you try and save the game and load it. I guess you have to play the tutorial all the way through and hope it doesn't break. Also, pathing is pretty terrible and others mentioned. Trying to build a couple of houses at the start of the game the builder got stuck when starting to build the second house that was next to the first (they need to walk away and reapproach a building when finishing one and starting another I guess to prevent them from trying to build in an area that they will be stuck in) Will give it a few more goes but I think this needs a bit more time baking. Definitely one to watch though.

Poorly coded and terrible game flow. The graphics are nice and the boss mechanics are enjoyable, but the rest of the game reeks of "my first game" or "rushed out the door"

Edit: Ok, I was a bit concerned last night when I got an error stack message when changing cameras. Now I just got an error that didn't allow me to select conveyor belts by clicking on them (Object not set to instance error) so I tried using the hotkey to select it, which worked. I laid out the belt path and when I clicked to start building it, bam, straight to desktop. A bit disheartening. Hopefully these errors and crashes get fixed soon. Moving my review to not recommended until it's stable enough to play.

Yes Please. Take a big chunk of Factorio, add a dash of Astroneer, a little bit of Planetary Annihilation, and a dusting of Satisfactory and you get this game. I'm still super early in, but I can feel that "hooked" feeling already as I begin to automate production chains with my giant fracking Mecha. The interface is functional, but it is pretty rough right now, but even so it's not a big enough con to turn me off the game. I really hope the game keeps on delivering as you proceed towards the end game, which is a unique goal I believe, and an awesome end-goal for this style game. Such a better goal than just launching a rocket. Other areas the game needs to work on is the build animations. Right now, you get the holographic indicator, a little drone flies out of your mech and BAM building. It would be much cooler looking if it built in. Also, you really should be able to build a building by dropping it on the map and then having it take the materials needed and slowly construct on the spot instead of having to fabricate everything in a different menu first. That is an example of one of those unrefined UI issues I mentioned earlier. Still, game just came out and is already better than most EA games look when they leave EA.

I always wished the first Everspace game was a proper single player story game. I loved the combat and the visuals, but rogue-like just sapped the fun out of it after a while. This game shows that I was indeed right that this engine is amazing as a non-roguelike. If you at all enjoy space games, this is definitely one of the best.

Same addictive gameplay. One of the few RTS games where turtling is a viable strategy if you want it to be. So satisfying gradually pushing back the enemy and expanding into the map. Infinite replayability with all the maps available. Amazing developer. Get the demo and try it if you have never played a Creeper World game before. If you have played it, just go ahead and buy it.
