Fate of the World's best comp is the wonderfully frustrating Democracy 2. FotW is less of a sandbox and a lot less obtuse and as a result the interplay of all the various policies and crises come into focus. The opening's more than a bit preachy, but don't let that turn you off: there's a properly entertaining sim here.
