This is great. Helldivers 1 was intense, though the change from isometric to over the shoulder makes this so much better. I just played through my first Challenging mission as a level 5 with a bunch of random level 13's and fwoar, it's nuts :D Gritty, visceral, hilarious, overwhelming, and it's just going to keep ramping up as the booms get bigger and the bugs get gnarlier. Well done Arrowhead. Superb.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. The pacing was considered, it's a narrative worth exploring and pointed to some fundamentals of existence and the inevitability of those unresolved conflicts with our natural world in a beautiful way. I had no issue with any part of the graphics or facial expressions or anything else, I've got no idea what all the average or negative reviews are on about, I'm a little sad I waited as long as I did to get into this based on them. At certain points I was a little 'gee.. more climbing' though at the same time it's the game mechanic for exploring the story, and this is a story. Blasting off in things was neat. I guess we need to Deliver (spoiler I won't include) now? :D

This is an incredibly layered experience. Engaging, beautiful, challenging. Really enjoying it. There was no way to predict what I was getting into without trawling through spoilers, so glad I just got stuck in.

I've harpooned my way into a deep love of the ocean. This is such a beautiful and relaxing, fun and constant 'oooh another thing to do' .. it's like a modern farmville with kitsch 80s anime tropes. Love it.

I'M DOING MY PART.. and errr.. MEDDDDIIICCCCC.. seriously though, this is great. Like getting overrun whilst playing Tetris in a base building environment. It's like being back in the early Squad aka 'running simulator' getting to the different map points.

Installed.. played for 10 hours straight.. finished it the next day... gorgeous. Really fun bubbling around the sea. Quite a dark maniacal undertone. I tucked myself into bed each night nice and early rather than deal with THE HORROR :D

I just finished this and it's BEAUTIFUL and so inspired. I haven't played a crime/puzzle/sleuthing game with little combat in a long time, and this is superbly done. It's a true journey / story and blends history and mythology together in a gorgeous arc.

A beautiful, solo, unwinding story. Extremely linear, it's basically follow the obvious, though I really enjoyed it. Happy I played through it. It's rare to find something with such a gripping environment devoid of having to shoot things.

I played through in just over 5 hours, and I probably took the quick way out - it's a gorgeously written text based scifi dystopian RPG and the music is sublime. It's meditative if you're a fast reader, and if you're into this sort of thing, it's well worth a run through. The moral choices seemed nearly as genuine as when I had to put the kids to work in Frostpunk to survive or the positions This War of Mine forced me into. Good stuff.

I love it.. once I figured out the weapons progression and got the hang of walking around things, it's reasonably easy to consistently build a tank and rock out to 30:00 minutes.. I haven't yet taken the clock lancet and managed to murder the reaper himself though.. maybe I willllll
