Guns don't kill people, but snipers are useless without them

Tactical first person shooters played co-operative is the best time of day, but there are always other points of interests too. Sometimes the first person shooters doesn't have to be very tactical, but straight out shooters aren't really up my alley. And the first person might sometimes be third person.
Then there's the racing games which I preferably drive with my Logitech GT-driverset. Even though I like more simulation:ish racinggames, it's more important that they're fun. That's why the FlatOut-series and TrackMania are the big favorites of all times.
Flying with the aid of a joystick is always great fun, although I'm just starting to dip my toes in to that pool. And when all of that is listed there's still the puzzlers and adventure-games.
Even though I enjoy playing games in single player-mode, the best thing will always be co-operative fighting and especially if it's at the side of my LUC-brethren.
Part of the greatest co-operative gamingforce on earth; the Länsi Uusimaa Chapter [LUC]. We might not be the best of the best in performance, but we certainly are the Gods of enjoying our gamingtime.

The Länsi Uusimaa Chapter
The co-operative fighting force
The coolest special ops-dudes (and maybe dudettes) join together to save the world from terrorists and cute little bunnies with big pointy teeth! These extreme crimefighters and terroristhunters from the beautiful yet rugged Länsi Uusimaa-region have sworn an oath to Jean-LUC Picard to keep their homeplanet safe so that Picard can focus on the rest of the universe. LUC only hide when someone speaks aloud the name of evil: The Hoff.
LUC-members never die, they just go to hell before they respawn and no server in cyberspace has ever been able to keep them from doing that. Lock 'n load cuz the LUC is in town!
Requirements for being drafted by the L.U.C.:
☑ Must own cool PC (pref. without Vista, but hey, nobody's perfect, even Win7-owners)!
☑ Must be from Länsi Uusimaa (but if you ever visit, even for a short while, you're considered a resident)!
☑ Must have an active account on Skype and a working headset for online communication!
☑ Must be accepted by the Holy Fathers of L.U.C. who have the birthright of being Evil and Undemocratic!
☑ Must be seriously cool... like a monkey... with a shotgun... and an attitude!
☑ Must be slightly crazy, but still able to co-operate with his fellow men (and possibly women, who's judging?) in the looney bin.
☑ Must be willing to (...and actually to do it...) download and use the all mighty Tamagoch... Tama... Honda... Toyota? WTF?! Hamachi!

This isn't a perfect game; it's not the best of ports (although it works), it's kinda corridor-ish at times and it's got friggin' always on online voicechat (something I just can't understand), but it's got lots of stuff going for it. Most of all, it feels like LotR and that's kinda important! You get launched into Middle-Earth and you stay there, even though very few original characters are to be seen. The combat is fierce and, well, cool and you know you're swinging a thirty kg sword - you feel the weight behind it! And of course, it's got three player co-op, which is the most important aspect to ANY game!
This is kinda a must buy for LotR-fans who love to play cooperatively and that can momentarily forget that you have to use the somewhat horrible in game voicechat.
So it's co-designed by Richard Garfield, the guy behind Magic: the Gathering and RoboRally, but it's not a CCG even though it might look like one. It is however something that could've been published in the Kosmos two-player line and it would've been one of the greatest. It feels like the classic and awesome Kosmos-games Blue Moon, Jambo, Caesar & Cleopatra and Hera & Zeus. So if you like those game, or just two player non-CCG Magic-kinda games, then this is a must try! Awesome mechanics and great gameplay. The only downside to the game is that you can't play vs other players with customised decks. I understand why you can't, but it would be nice to have the option. Maybe that'll come in a DLC!
It has a great single player campaign, it's got awesome co-op (not only in swarm/horde-mode, but in all modes) and stellar multiplayer. It's got the graphics of any triple-A and gameplay far superior to most... but at the cost of nearly nothing!
The bots used in single player and co-op modes is great and you really have to fight for it. It's dynamic and heavily intense.
If you are in anyway inclined to like FPS:es of ANY sort this is a must-have in your library! It's got more modes than my socks have holes and a coolness-factor larger than Chuck Norris. Yes, even Chuck Norris...
