You're already dead. Stop playing BBCS and play SSFIV with me.

Cave Story with iffy new graphics, an ill-matched remixed soundtrack, and a charmless but technically uninfringing new translation. Very little reason to "upgrade" from the old freeware edition, but the core game's still fantastic.

Clunky, buggy, and not much fun if you try any build other than a stealthy sidearm marksman with a gamepad. But the writing's pretty entertaining, with a lot of clever variations and consequences depending on how you handle missions and who you piss off. Timed dialog reponses make conversations feel fast and important.

It leans a little too heavily on the structure and design of the original Deus Ex, and anything that's not lifted from that game is lifted directly from Metal Gear Solid, but I can think of far, far worse games to copy.
