Great city builder, bit of a learning curve but it's self-imposed/paced and will be influenced by your play style. If you liked Banished you'll like this.

Room temp IQ mandatory

It's p good. Retail price gives you 75% of the game, mods give you another 75%. That's a lot of game, brother, what else do you want?

Caveat: I mainly play the Mortal Empires content which requires warham 1 purchased. CA do great things, make great games, but ♥♥♥♥ me do they take their pound of flesh - especially considering that I would not rate this game nearly as highly without the slew of mods I use to improve the experience. Still love it.

Absolute gem of a game. Every few months I return to it and binge hard on a new captain or five. Even after all this time, the pace of updates, QoL improvements and new features is awesomely impressive.

The sheer freedom and respect this game gives you coupled with the dynamic nature of the galaxy and all its mechanics and systems, is glorious, and almost unmatched in todays' gaming landscape.

This game reaches out leagues beyond its genre and setting. If you have at least an ounce of imagination and an IQ that wasn't found in a toilet bowl you will enjoy it.

Fun game, enjoyed it all through early access and still do, but you really need to ban all chinese from playing outside their containment servers

Some cool nerds got fed up with there being no decent space hulk game, so they made their own. And it rocks.

10/10 for community support: these devs really love their craft and put immense effort into continually updating and supporting their game. I could give a thumbs up for that alone: these guys are real paragons of integrity compared to what we generally see these days.
