Very nice action rpg, with more emphasis on action. Story wise this game is good but the ending is a bit flat, or at least it was for me. Boss fights are a bit unbalanced in the beginning but become very easy later in the game,. Graphics are great and the game definitely pays tribute to it's own origins along with Mass Effect and other rpgs. Overall a lot of fun but I speculate about the replay value...

The GTA Franchise is exceptional with it's raising of the bar for sandbox games. This iteration is no different. PC players should double check their ability to run the game though as this is the major drawback to this release. It's not for the faint of heart PC build. I am squeaking by with an average of 30 fps and that is actually fine for me but others will get more lackluster results depending on their gpu/cpu. That being said, it's a great game on the PC platform. The early bugs have been mostly squashed and people can expect the same level of play as the console with the added benefit of using their mouse to aim and shoot. I dig my Xbox 360 but I learned along time ago that fps and consoles are a mixed bag. PCs are still the king of fps and while GTA IV is not strictly one, there is enough of it to feel the difference of a mouse vs. a controller. The graphics look quite good on the PC and the ability to run high resolution textures is just a plus (providing you have a 1GB gpu).

Open world sandbox chaos driven fps game... literally chaos driven as it's part of your objectives. Lot's of fun just running wild and blowing shit up. Pick up the demo if you aren't quite sure.
