Half-Life to the PC is such an essential to me as Super Mario is to the Nintendo. Half-Life presents an opportunity to be entertained for several hours, both running through the singeplayer story, and also online causing havoc in multiplayer.
If playing the game isn't enough it also gives any owner a new world to develop using the developers own tools to make new maps, sounds, textures, models etc.
This is a must-have for any PC gamer!
