Jesus. This game is scary. But well worth it. Also DLC is extremely scary, almost worse, in a good way. I wholeheartedly encourage you to buy this, NOW.

What can I say? While I haven't played it through (still on World 4), so far this has been an incredible experience. Since I never really had a console or handheld gaming device, I have never played much in the realm of sidescrollers.

However, this really takes the idea to the max. The character handling is amazing, and even if it takes you 50 tries to get a level (I know, I suck) you're left fist pumping yourself that you beat it.

The level design manages to be both clever and witty. Oftentimes you find yourself going through the first area only to find a saw or deathtrap exactly where you land. This game has no concept of lives. Each level must be passed in one go without err.

Much of the delight produced by the game comes from the incredible, upbeat, techno soundtrack which fits the art style perfectly.

All in all, if you're patient or very dextrous with a controller (use a controller if you can, it's much easier), this game is a blast. Plus, right now it's 50% off. GET IT NOW

I just beat this game. Really beautiful, wonderful music, and a great storyline. I had one problem: My mouse was jerky and horrible (accelerated input in AC2 is horrendous and they did nothing to fix it). Ended up needing to play it on an Xbox controller. Still, if you have a controller on you, the game is very fun to play.
