Let's see, there's so much that I can say yet there's so little room to actually put it. So firstly let's get the general stuff out of the way.
I'm a typical 16 year old male - turning 17 in the next 10 months or so lol. I go to school - I enjoy school, mostly. I hang out with mates, I like girls, all the typical stuff really.
My interests? Gaming has to be near the top of the list, definetly. I see games as a work of art - not something you just install on your computer and play for the heck of it. Lots of time and lots of effort goes into the development of games (or most of them, at least). VALVe, the creators of this wanderful community and the system in general, have probably put the most amount of time in thier creations of any developer I have ever seen.
Half-Life is the best series of video games ever created and I don't take that lightly. Its story is the most compelling, most immersive of all science fiction stories I have ever seen. Marc Laidlaw has outdone himself.
I like writing, reading and anything remotely related to creative writing and English Litreture. I enjoy listening to a mixture of music - notably soft music, trance and progressive rock such as Pink Floyd. I am noted as being quite coherent and mature for my age. I am an extremely varied person - I seem to have the ability to make friends with almost anyone (or anyone who's willing to be my friend). I am noted as being quite generous, intelligent and compassionate. But that's enough of me.
Finally, one day after I leave university I hope to find a job at Valve Software as a writer. Either that, or its teaching.

Half-Life may very well be the most reclusive series of video games ever released in regards to its story, to its plot, to its backstory. The original Half-Life put foward many questions - the true identity behind the G-Man being the most predominent question.
Half-Life Opposing Force, Blue-Shift and Decay did nothing more than continue to arise questions. Half-Life 2 answered a few lingering albiet minor questions and Episode One answered pretty much nothing.
Episode Two and Three has been said to clear up loose ends - to tie up the story arc set in motion during Half-Life 1. What are your thoeires on the G-Man? What are your theories on the Combine? This group is intended soley for the discussion of the story behind Half-Life and all of its related material.
